Another possible take on the Neville/Hannah relationship and how it developed over the years, starting with a meeting neither remembers. Disclaimer: I am not, of course, JK Rowling and this is not my world, I'm just playing in it.

Twenty years, two different people, but the same image...a tiny little drabble written for a challenge based on the word "mirror" (note: the Harry Potter universe and characters belong to J. K. Rowling, not me - I am only playing in this world).

In which it is unwise to pick on a Hufflepuff who fought in the DA in front of the Gryffindor who led them. (Some Hannah/Neville fluff, passing reference to Dean and Seamus) Disclaimer: I am not J.K. Rowling (alas), these are not my characters, I am just playing in this universe.

I'd not been quite comfortable with either the book or the movie account with respect to what happened to the Elder Wand. Destroying a priceless artifact so blatantly, or depending on an Auror never to be defeated in combat, seems...problematic. Here's another explanation, which also explains why Harry, in the chronicles, lied about what actually happened...
