Ted and Andromeda are happy, raising their daughter, and doing their best to stay off the radar of those who wish them ill-will. In Jan. 1980 they find themselves facing trouble when Cissa sends a letter to her sister. The men that love the two youngest Black sisters are thrown together in unfortunate of circumstances and find they have more in common than they originally thought.
