Season 5 takes place 30 years in the future and is about Summer, Skyline, Chary, Melrose, Jasmine, and Jester. The new users of the Elements of Harmony. Also nicknamed the New Generation. Summer and her friends must fight against a new enemy named Van, who is revealed to be Alexei's younger brother. Thus begins the action-packed adventures for this new group of ponies.

Red Moon Blossom is about a pony samurai named Kyoya who tries to seek revenge on an evil emperor named Daisuke that was responsible for the slaughter of his clan. After Daisuke defeats him, Kyoya ends up finding a powerful cursed sword named Red Moon Blossom. As a price for wielding it, the sword changes him from a stallion to a mare.

My Next Door Neighbor Is God is an anime that focuses around Aiko Koizumi, a normal teenage girl living a normal teenage life. After heading home from school one day, Aiko find out she has a new neighbor at her apartment. Aiko soon discovers that her neighbor isn't just some typical teenage boy. He is actually God.

Demon Panic is an anime that focuses around a 2nd year student from Demon Eliminator Academy named Izumi Yoshida, a 17yr old girl that used to be a boy called Ryo Yukimura, until he was accidently turned into a girl by Ayumi Tsukino through a misunderstanding. There's nothing normal about this school that trains students in hunting demons. Izumi's life will never be the same.

Season 6 is about the continuing fun crazy random adventures of both the Old Generation and the New Generation in the world of Equestria. After the defeat of Van, Summer and her friends, all of whom became alicorns after activating the Elements of Harmony's true form, open their wings and soar into a new bright future. However, where there is light there is also darkness.
