When Derek had heard that Stiles – quirky, hyperactive, ADHD Stiles – had quit his job at Beacon Hills Post as 'Fact Researcher' and was writing books, he'd laughed. He'd laughed and joked that Stiles couldn't sit still long enough to write a chapter for a book, let alone the whole book. Derek doesn't remember when he start's…well…remembering. One night he's going to sleep and he's just the son of two dead parents who's helping his older sister take care of his little sister and the next morning he's waking up and he remembers all of it. * Derek remembers some of his past lives and he tries to find the man he can't stop remembering.
The Nogitsune tricks Derek into thinking he's having sex with Stiles. Only, plot twist: Derek knows it's the Nogitsune but he just wants to sleep with Stiles, even if only once and he might not ever get the chance. Read to find the second plot twist. IS BEING A BUTT. Derek gets hit by a curse that separates his more gentle and happy parts from his darker self. Stiles is quite surprised to find that Derek is, in fact, able to smile, and maybe he's a little bias towards Sunshine. The Pack decides to do something a little unusual to try and get Derek and Stiles together. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO TAKE PLACE SOMEWHERE IN SEASON 3 WHERE EVERYONE IS HAPPY AND NO ONE IS DEAD.
It's really a chance encounter. Derek wasn't going to sign up to T. A. the stupid class but he needed the credits for FAFSA to kick in. He never would have guessed he'd meet the rambunctious ball of energy.
