This story is about the young woman called Nikora Adalayde known as The Dragon Mistress. She is a champion duelist. It turns out she has a connection to the Pharaoh in the ancient past and both their spirits have been bought back to fight the evil in the present just as they did in the past. Atem must discover the significance of Nikora and what she meant to him in his life.

This is a prequel set fifteen years before the events of the film Simon Says. Nikora is the Dream Girl of the Heathers, one of the only girls that live in the old town.
