An updated revision of my earliest fan fic, Shelved gets an upgrade! In the weeks after the game reset, Taffyta is feeling the reception of an arcade that no longer views her as the sweet racer she wants to be and she doubts her own skills and code because of it. Vanellope wants to help but finds herself in trouble that might throw the game off for good.
Vanellope is about to get her much desired revenge on the Candy Racers for years of torment but as she sits back and enjoys the pain, the racers show her that something is brewing within them as well. Something dangerous that even she may not be able to control.
Felix is nervous about being the best man for Gene and Mary's wedding and he soon begins to doubt that he worthy of such a responsibility. His doubt will be eclipsed however as two uninvited guest arrive, turning the joyous occasion in a disaster and sending Felix on a journey where his will is put to the test.
In this Wreck-it-Ralph AU tale, we get a look into what really caused the discourse between Ralph and the Nicelanders and it seems to have been a spat between both groups spanning years.
Post-Movie, there are still many things that are changing in the lives of our heroes. While Ralph is happy with the way things are going, he finds himself torn between his home and Vanellope when gossip flows through the arcade, bringing to question what really matters about a character's role in their game.
