Striker befriends Maya, a prostitute against her will, and they form a friendship while Striker tries to protect Maya from her abusive step-uncle pimp, while both imps feel a little more than friendship between them. After an argument between Moxxie and Millie ends with them afraid of losing each other when Moxxie discovers an old secret Millie had kept from him, Sallie Mae tells Moxxie another secret that made his and Millie's marriage meaningful and how much their love meant to each other. Feeling guilty for the loss of his friends to the Fabrication Machine, 9 runs away from his group in shame. In his self exile, he comes across a familiar face he never got a chance to know who sends him to bring his friends back to life. Little by little, 9 feels hope for true happiness once more and deals with some challenges ahead of him, including an old enemy of his friends.

Elsa goes through some old things and finds a very special piece from her and Anna's childhood after the accident and they were separated.
