Here is my take on how things might have happened differently had Cora and Robert's son lived. It will primarily focus on Cora and Robert, but things will be different for other characters too. Cora and Robert are spending their first Christmas Eve together as husband and wife. This story is informed by what Robert says in S1, "Not a year, not as long as that." and "It wouldn't have happened if not for Mary."
