Hell outside the confines of Lucifer's castle was a strange hybrid of the worst parts of the mortal realm and of the ancient primordial energies of hell. In fact, the influences of the mortal realm have changed Hell so much that it's almost unrecognizable from the original pit of fire it used to be a few hundred years ago. However, on the inside, it stayed true to its name.
