Distraught over the death of her horse, Lizzie Brooks begins her fifth year at Hogwarts alone, depressed and with very few friends until she meets Canadian exchange student, Hayden Chamberlain (based on Hayden Christensen). The two become fast friends, and Hayden teaches Lizzie how to cope with her grief and get back on the horse again.

Lizzie begins her fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, depressed and grief stricken over the death of her horse Raven when she meets handsome Canadian exchange student Hayden Chamberlain who is immediately drawn to Lizzie and after learning the full extent of her grief over losing Raven, vows to help her get back on a horse so she can begin to heal.
