This is my idea of how the scene between Potter and Umbridge in the first hour of Defence Against the Dark Arts in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" should have gone. We get in at the point when Hermione asks Umbridge why the use of defensive spells is not in her curriculum.
