They could hide from the world around them. Why shouldn't they? The world demanded and expected everything from them. If they could afford any selfishness at this point, they'd take it in a heartbeat. Why shouldn't they find solace in one another? Hide away from their stations in life. Away, away, into the darkness, where they weren't Cassandra and Camille. But Cass and Millie.
Or you could just stay the course, deputy. Just another face among the cogs and drones. Living in a run down room and passing out plastered on some street corner at four in the morning. Then start all over again the next day. And the next. And the next. That's all your life will become: a monorail going through the motions in an endless, miserable day. I am offering you tomorrow.
There are some games that never die. Vi and Powder's monster game was super fun, but could either get a little stale or too much sometimes. So, why not…expand on it? Powder was building a dramatic streak as she grows up and had this crazy story in mind. When could Vi ever say no to her?
