  • Surface Tension

Castiel's always felt drawn towards the surface and the world above the lake he resides in—certainly more than a merperson should. That pull only gets worse the more time he spends around a human he finds himself liking, even though he knows he should stay away. At this point, he can only hope his people don't find out… (mermaid!Cas au that isn't Little Mermaid rewrite)

  • Barricade

Nora can't help but worry about Cas, both as he's working at the Gas-N-Sip and afterwards, though it's not as if her worries are entirely misplaced. (part 4 of my series of standalone oneshots, 'Outsider POVs')

  • No Different

Dean knew right when he first saw Cas that he was special, he just didn't know why. When he finally finds out why everyone keeps whispering that he's 'different,' well, he sees no reason why something like THAT should matter…

  • By the Book

Dean's been hearing about the winged monster in the forest that's supposedly destroyed his family for as long as he can remember. When he's old enough, he decides he's going to capture it in the hopes it'll finally make his dad proud of him. Then he unknowingly meets and befriends the creature and things get…complicated…

  • Vital

Castiel was sent to scout out a new potential hunt to figure out what's been ripping the organs out of people and dumping the bodies. He doesn't expect to be captured, and especially not by humans who are interested in harvesting monster organs. (mostly just mentioned organ harvesting, but don't read if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. set during season 5)

  • You Treat Me Like a Stranger

(and that feels so rough) Five times Mary felt unsettled and confused by Castiel, and the one time she realized they aren't so different after all. (part 3 of my series of standalone oneshots, 'Outsider POVs')

  • Subtitled, Retitled

He's always so, so cold and isn't sure how to deal with it. So he doesn't. But all he wants is to feel warm and safe again and be told that everything is going to be all right. The unofficial continuation of my other story, "Untitled, Entitled". Can be read as a standalone.

  • Untitled, Entitled

All he really wants is to be held and told everything will be okay, and he doesn't care if that makes him pathetic and human. He gets what he wants eventually—and when he could not deserve it less—but it doesn't come easily.

  • Pretty Please?

And so the Righteous Man hath commanded "Don't forget the Pie," and so his angel did not forget to bring forth the pie. Suzy's having a bad enough day before this weird guy in a trench coat comes in to ask about pies. (part 2 of my series of standalone oneshots, 'Outsider POVs') season unspecific, but I pictured S5ish so

  • Without Words

Marian is a waitress at a diner near Lebanon, Kansas, and she absolutely adores the family that comes in sometimes in all their flanneled glory. (part 1 of my series of standalone oneshots, 'Outsider POVs')

  • Cure Me Again?

A newly-human Cas gets the hiccups for the first time and freaks out. Good thing Dean is there to try to help him out in any way he can. (season unspecified, can be read as whenever)

  • Winter Wonderland

A wendigo hunt gone wrong leads Sam, Dean, and Castiel to get stuck in a cave in the middle of winter until they're found. Luckily, Castiel's wings are a great source of warmth. Unluckily, Sam and Dean find out angels can definitely get sick—especially with their grace out in the open in the form of two giant, feathery appendages. (Oneshot-part3 of 'The Holy Trinity of Xmas Fics')

  • Operation: For Dean

(Oneshot-part 2 of 'The Holy Trinity of Crappy Christmas Fics 2021') Sam gets fed up with Dean and Castiel pretending they're not basically married and decides what better gift could he give to both his brother and his best friend than to help them get together? (season unspecifed, likely after beginning of season 9)

  • Home

(Oneshot-part 1 of 'The Holy Trinity of Crappy Christmas Fics 2021') Sam and Dean invite Castiel to Bobby's house for Christmas. Castiel can't figure out why, but realizes soon enough. (Set in season 5)

  • Would you still love me if I were sick and disgusting?

Cas is sick, but decides not to tell Dean this because he doesn't want to let him down.

  • Match Made in Hell

What if instead of Castiel being the one to meet with the freshly resurrected Dean, it's Uriel? Castiel was still the one to yank him out, but Uriel is the leader of the garrison that stormed Hell to get to Dean's soul while Castiel is his subordinate. (AU where Uriel is the Winchesters' guardian angel...sort of.)
