Fred was laying on his back, and sprawled over him was Hermione, wearing a too-large Quidditch sweater – George noticed, a bit smug, that it was his –, some tight black leggings, and thick socks knitted by his mother. Fred, too, was sleeping, one hand on Hermione's back, while the other was dangling over the edge of the couch.

"Ginny, Hermione, you're of course allowed to visit me anytime," Fred winked, finally opening his eyes. There was a twinkle in his eyes Hermione had missed the last few months. A twinkle promising mischief and fun and a sure sign that Fred was finally back to his old self.  -It's the first Christmas after the war and Fred and Hermione fall in love over tea and biscuits.-

"You know, my brother is also here," Ginny said as Hermione smoothed the skirt of Ginny's dress once more. "I would expect all of them to be here, if not your mother would surely commit a murder," Hermione answered drily.

Ron wakes up one day at a hospital with a memory loss. His life has drastically changed - for the better mostly - but one thing is definitely worse: apparently he's no longer friends with Hermione and no one wants to tell him why.
