In the world of gods and demons, a young Kagome must face the evil of both man and beast, whilst seeking a cure for a curse inflicted on her by a corrupted god. Travelling to the land of the West she becomes involved in a war between the humans and the wrath of the dog demons that protect the land of the Great Forest Spirit. (Basically the plot of Princess Mononoke with InuYasha)
