A few months after the events at Biosyn, Maisie finally gets a chance at freedom. But adjusting from her isolated world with a population of three to the crowded, complex, and unfamiliar world beyond is not always as easy as she would have hoped, while her parents are torn between their instincts to hold her close and the knowledge that they have to start letting her go.
