Luke Skywalker and the old Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi lead an attack on an Imperial prison base holding several Rebel supporters that could prove vital to the cause. Among them Luke meets a young woman who tells him of a desolate world where kyber crystals can be found to build lightsabers. Such an idea to further his training leads Luke and his friends to seek out the kyber crystals.

Luke Skywalker is seriously injured in an assassination attempt near the Millennium Falcon and when investigations lead Princess Leia and the Rebellion to believe Han Solo was the saboteur things begin to go down hill for the smuggler. But he is not alone. Aided by his closest friend Chewbacca and Tallis Tano Han Solo will embark on a mission to discover Luke's true assassin.

The Galactic Empire has become an unstoppable, tyrannical government that preys on the weak and enslaves the unfortunate. But there is hope yet in a band of rallying Rebels intent on restoring freedom, justice and peace in the galaxy. But while the galaxy stirs up conflict and chaos, a band of unlikely heroes will join the fray and perhaps even shift the tide of the Force itself.
