I was having a conversation on twitter about Yashahime and how the writing of the original characters was so off. Specifically their maturity/relationship levels. We both agreed that Inuyasha and Kagome would totally trust each other more and keeping the kotodama no nenju was more for comedy and it didn't improve their relationship.
