Officially, there wouldn't be a funeral for Suguru, because Jujutsu society expelled him years ago. There was no way they'd want to commemorate a cursed user, especially one as infamous as Suguru. They'd sooner end up declaring the day a holiday and set up a festive celebration. So Satoru ends up organising a funeral himself, along with Shoko.
