Sirius is assigned to mentor Marlene Mckinnon when she joins The Order of the Phoenix. His perceptions of Hufflepuff house are drastically changed, and so is his life. (My take on Marlene is different than the popular fanon. Here she is younger than the Marauders, a Hufflepuff, and a WOC. This fic will diverge from canon in July of 1981.)

Marlene and Sirius are close friends and growing closer by the minute. Sirius is a little bit of an emotional train wreck. Marlene makes it a priority to make sure he knows she cares about him and that he isn't alone. H/C with Mutual Pining while in a FWB arrangement. Set in 1980. Fairly Smutty.
