Chrysalis, the fairest of all, rules over Equestria in tyranny before Discord gives her a prophecy; 5.5 will restore peace. Raged, Chrysalis sends the 5.5 into foaltales: Cinderainbow, Raripunzel, Pinkariel, Red Applehood, Twilaura and Jaspike. Hope lives; a new fairest of all arrives. It's now up to Snow Flutter to find a 7th to free the cursed 6 dwarfs and complete the foaltales.

(Set after the battle against the badgers in Bramblestar's Storm in ShadowClan's point of view). Rowanstar is maddened at Tawnypelt for asking ThunderClan for help. Tawnypelt's worst nightmare is eventually coming true... That everyone she loves is turning evil. Maybe she just needs to open her eyes wider and see passed her mate Rowanstar's iciness to the true meaning behind it.

After defeating Tirek, Twilight Sparkle feels lost- like something is empty in her. She soon discovers a book. A book she didn't know she had about Dark Magic, and can't help but read it- what can a bit of reading harm? Meanwhile Fluttershy is trying to get Discord settled again, after his treacherous act of betrayal, while suffering losing one of her best friends.
