This story parallels the actual Harry Potter books, and takes place in the Deep South. The general idea is that magic is replaced by horses. Harry goes to Hogwarts where he learns to ride, he gets a horse instead of a wand, and he competes in eventing instead of quidditch. This is very AU, but I tried to stay true to character. I may eventually mix up the couples, though.

Hermione is pregnant with Ron's child in her sixth year, and she has to make the decision of whether on not she wants to keep the child. She also learns just how loyal friends can truly be in times of need. Takes place from Hermione's point of view in the beginning of Half-Blood Prince.
