After a trip with Winter and Qibli went wrong, Moon wakes up in some sort of facility. There, she must endure painful genetic enhancements and escape. She winds up on a world where the dragons are strange, Metal has a mind of its own, and methods of destruction that makes animus magic look like a toy.

Some 300 years ago, some dragons settled on a continent east of Pyrrhia. Since then, they have been making advancements in technology, machines that put Animus magic to shame.
