The Borden family is blessed with some great opportunities through the efforts of Jack and Lyndi's song writing. Lou has a medical struggle, while Ty and Amy grow up their family. Georgie and Quinn are growing their business and getting Georgie and Katie ready for the Olympics in Paris. Lou and Peter are managing the combined Heartland-Fairfield Business since Lisa's passing.

The story begins with the wedding and moves on to one of the characters getting injured. It is still centered around Amy and Ty Borden and their running of Heartland.
