Marine Percy Jackson has come back from his Iraq deployment, a changed man. Needing a roommate, he meets genius but socially awkward, easily irritated Annabeth Chase. He quickly finds, though, there's more to living with Detective Chase than paying rent; the two embark on several escapades, one more life-threatening than the previous.
