The world is different, but events are much the same. Or they would have been, if a bandaged man (who is decidedly not a hero) hadn't interrupted Obito's attempt to extract the Kyuubi from Kushina Uzumaki. Naruto begins his climb to the top of the world from the deepest pits of hell, and only time will tell if he will see the sunrise, or if the coming dusk will smother his flame.
