"We're getting married". The words should have filled Harry Potter with joy not dread. After three years he should have be OK with seeing his best friends together. A misunderstanding between Harry and Hermione during the war set them on the path they were today. After realizing that both would have to choose how to deal with the consequences and what they are willing to sacrifice.

Somewhat following book seven. Harry is in love with Hermione but is afraid to tell her because of her relationship with Ron. With his inability to hide his feelings his friendship with Hermione suffers somewhat until she becomes aware of his feelings.

Canon to Deathly Hallows,except for the epilogue but with R/Hr together. Starts off at the tent scene after Ron let, but picks up mostly a few months after the battle.
