Life is said to be many things and one word that many people use to describe it is surprising and unknown. They are not wrong. Life is both of those things. Things happen every day that one cannot foretell. But every now and again something happens and you get that overwhelming feeling that this was meant to be. Sirius believed that meeting Penny was one of those things.
"I can't be a-a-a wizard. I mean, I'm just Harry, just Harry." Drabbles/ one-shots about Harry James Potter. Genres will probably differ between friendship/romance/hurt/comfort/family.
Human beings – whether it be wizards, witches or muggles – all have missions in life. Those missions vary in time it will take to accomplish and in the amount of struggling that will no doubt accompany their mission. But when all of that is taken into consideration human beings still have their missions. Petunia, Narcissa, Sirius and Remus soon find themselves sharing one.
It was all because of that stupid diary Draco had found when he went his mother to visit 12 Grimmauld Place. If he hadn't started reading it then he wouldn't know about this Padfoot and he definitely wouldn't be questioning everything he had been taught since he was old enough to listen. He definitely wouldn't be standing outside of Harry Potter's house. That damn diary.
"Merlin no," Sirius laughed oud loud; it reminded Harry of a bark and even if he couldn't see his godfathers smile Harry could imagine that it covered his entire face the way it only did because of certain people or in certain moments. "You need to tell her because I cannot wait to see the look on her face when you tell her that you gave Dumbledore the non-metaphorical finger."
"Dad, are you still there?" A small voice, a light voice, echoed through the house and reached the ears of Harry Potter who sat in the couch with two steaming cups of coffee on the table next to him. He held out his finger as if he had been counting down and looked at Hermione with a triumphant smile. "I'm here, Jamie." (Birthday Fic 2017)
Running away from home. It was an odd sentence and one that he truly never thought he would say out loud. Not in the way he just did in his mind. He had truly run away from home. He had left his parents. He had left his brother. Sirius felt the ache grow stronger. His mother had chased him out of the house.
He had always been intrigued by the woman; because she reminded him of his dragons. She was fiery, she had character, she was guarded and manipulative. The interest which had been still inside of him woke up as they danced and Charlie almost wished that someone else had been given the task. And he almost wished that they could be more to each other than a mummy and a hag.
"Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair... and a hand-me-down robe. You must be a Weasley." [[Drabbles about the Weasley siblings.]]
Harry laughed and in that moment, he looked just like he did before Sirius went away. "I'm going to think of you as an unexpected visitor."
"It's a lily in bloom." Harry said with a smile as he took the pot from the ground and offered Lily his hand. It wasn't until then that she noticed that her brothers were nowhere to be seen. "Let's go show your mother." [[Drabbles and one-shots about the next-gen]]
"But I can promise you this. No matter what happens you will always have a sanctuary. It may not be a place or the person you think it will be but you will always have some sanctuary that you can come back to when you're in need of support and love."
"Honour Lily and James day." George repeated while he looked at the scribbles of his brother. "So, you are doing a lot of pranks most of them from what I can see directed at Umbridge to honour your boyfriend's parents."
Cars honked their horns. Birds screeched. The sound of laboured breathing filled the apartment. And Hermione thought about Ron. She thought about the adrenaline and the fear that pumped through her body when they first kissed. This was nothing like this Hermione thought and smiled at Fleur who returned it. This was tranquillity.
"What are you thinking about?" Sirius tried his best to look indifferent and slightly annoyed. Maybe he had Lily fooled but none of the other boys fell for it, especially not Remus whose cheeks had turned a shade pinker. "Prongs, it's seriously nothing."
Dumbledore nodded thoughtfully, his eyes glimmered with amusement. "I agree Mr. Weasley. Alicia Spinnet, as it turns out, is quite the damsel in scarlet armour."
Love is scary. It can either be the best or the worst experience in your life. So, why do people risk risk it? The answer was an emotion. It was the need to feel that emotion and the desire to make someone else feel it too. The answer was happiness. [[Drabbles about different pairings]]
"Thanks." Harry gave her one last smile. "I'll see you." "Yeah, you will." Hermione felt her heart getting heavier for every step that he took away from her. It took everything ounce of will power for her not to follow him and eventually he vanished out of sight. The boy who lived. The chosen one. Her best friend. Her biggest what if. Harry James Potter.
James felt his heart swell at the sight of the woman in front of him. In that moment, he couldn't come up with another moment when he had felt that same sensation rampaging the insides of his body. "Never?" Lily shook her head and for a moment looked completely sober as she gathered all the love in that one smile that only James could bring out of her. "Never."
Ginny pointed at him, there was no missing the anger in her eyes, and wagged her finger. "You made me fat." "I'm inclined to say that you did have a role in the act which resulted in us ending up in this predicament." He smirked at her. "I didn't hear any complaints then…"
