Now in the present as teachers they are chaperoning at their old high school during the spring formal dance. Sesshomaru has no defenses when it comes to Rin.

Kagome has fallen in with a bad crowd after she can no longer travel through time to see her friends. In a drunken stupor she comes across the person she has missed the most.

Sesshomaru takes Rin to his Manhattan penthouse where she is completely blown away by the lavishness her friend lives within. After talking about where they want their relationship to go Rin realizes that Sesshomaru is still the friend she remembers more or less. Sequel to ‘The Girl Next Door.’

Being freed from the sacred tree Rin feels disconnected and out of place in what was once her life. It doesn’t help that she hasn’t seen Sesshomaru since she was released from her prison making her question her entire life

Sesshomaru finds Kagome in a cafe studying. It is nice to reconnect with someone he once knew as they continue to meet up. He just had no idea how much pain the priestess was in until it was nearly to late.

Sesshomaru returns to his childhood home after living abroad for some years. He meets back up with Rin, his former next door neighbor. After learning about her living situation he decides to take her away from it all.

With a four year old Kagome is finally ready to head to university only to have another surprise courtesy of her daughter. Written in my blood moon universe. Events following ‘swinging from a star’. Established sessxkag.
