Stumbling blindly in the snowy woods out back of Will Graham's house, Frederick Chilton is bitten by one of Will's dogs. Only it isn't one of Will's dogs. The incident marks the start of a strange and exhilarating transformation that might just give Frederick the opportunity for the revenge on Hannibal that he so-ahem-doggedly pursues.
Frederick Chilton is in a coma, locked in his head. But he's far from alone in there.
The game is on again, and Ryan Hardy always gets his man. A love story told in wounds. Slight AU, but once again references events in S2, E03-04.
Ryan goes further down the rabbit hole for Joe...and Joe welcomes him with open arms. Max and Mike are increasingly caught up and falling prey to Ryan's eroding facade. Slight AU, but contains events from S2, E08 and E09.
Joe and Ryan realize they can't live without each other. Very few others are expected to live, either. Largely AU, but contains some events from S2, E11-14.
Ryan ventures out to Joe's deep-woods hideout. Everything is just as he expects, and then nothing is. Slight AU, but references events from S02, E1-3.
Slightly AU fic. Will is Bedelia DuMaurier's patient, not Hannibal's. He is still a consultant with the BAU. There was no Garrett Jacob Hobbs, but some of the murders in the show will feature. Hannibal's story arc is an allegory of the Celtic/Gaulish horned god Cernunnos. The mythology will be explained.
"Crash" (JG Ballard, 1976) AU: Sam Winchester is driving his girlfriend's car on Interstate 80 to Reno when his entire world crumbles. Sam wakes battered and broken in a hospital and so begins an erotic, dreamlike journey into a world where flesh and machine merge, twining and falling toward a final collision. Multiple pairings: Sam/Dean, Dean/Cas, Sam/Meg, Sam/Cas.
As much as Will Graham is pale and retiring before others, he is prismatic in Hannibal's view. A seething garden to rival all the temptations set before Saint Anthony by the hosts of Hell. It smells of sweet decay; Will is sick with it. And Hannibal is determined to teach Will to want it. Or, rather, show him he already does. (Casefic)
Some people's complete interior lives are made up of the things they wish they had said but did not. Looking at the uncomplicated satisfaction scrawled freehand all over Sherlock's face, John decided for the thousandth painful time that leaving things unsaid was not a problem with which the man was burdened. Prequel to Concerning Human Understanding.
T-Minus the Touch That Changed Everything, John had slipped once again into the invariance of his relationship with Sherlock. The two of them existed in the centre of a backward universe in which complaints were voiced and praise kept close to the vest to be later weaponized. (Sequel to L'Esprit de L'Escalier)
Chilton has been spectacularly abusing his power over Will Graham at the Baltimore State Hospital for the Criminally Insane, to no avail. He calls Hannibal in to consult, and Hannibal gives Will what he needs-fuel for both rage and desire, plus some delicious retribution.
