A Joel-centric piece that centres around his thoughts regarding his journey with Ellie throughout the main story of "The Last Of Us" and what his relationship with the young girl has meant to him

Whilst on a seemingly routine case Toby meets Emi Tompkins, a young telepath who teaches him that his own gift is more than what it seems. But their meeting ignites a conflict that Toby isn't ready for, which will affect everyone they hold dear.

This is an Ellie-centric oneshot that takes place a a few months after Joel rescues Ellie from the Fireflies and the two return to Tommy's base camp. Ellie reflects on some of the events that took place in their lives that led them to where they end up, yet she also looks to the future as she finds new purpose and meaning for her young life.
