The day Earth was destroyed Meg and Cale were separated from their fathers and never saw them again. They now live in space with Sarah Hawkins and her son Jim. When Jim finds the map to the legendary Treasure Planet the 3 friends set off to find it. But on the journey they will find the map not only leads to Treasure Planet but also to answers about what happened to their fathers.

After a fight breaks out in class, the teacher's punishment is for everyone to come to school on Saturday night for a mandatory assignment: each student is paired up with the one person in class they can't stand to be around right now and forced to go around town to complete a scavenger hunt. Limits will be tested and fights will happen; but will they make it through the night?

Meg is sick and without a transplant she may only have a month left. At the same time she finds out her long-time boyfriend, Flynn, is gay. Neither of them want to accept what's happened to them, so they make the decision to run away. When they come across a small town and Flynn falls in love for the first time and Meg's health gets worse, they realize they can't outrun themselves.

Shortly after seeing a tank and armed men roll through their quiet town, sisters Elsa and Anna are forced out of their home and separated from each other. Elsa is locked away from the outside world in an institution and Anna is put on a ship heading out of the country. Neither girl knows what's happening. They find unlikely allies and begin a search to find each other.
