The story of Harry's 7th birthday... /:/ For "Harry's Birthday" contest by ForTheLoveOfBooksAndCupcakes. /:/ "He clasped his own seatbelt tightly. He wondered if his parents had been wearing them. He had tried to ask Uncle Vernon before and been sent to his room with no supper."
Rose leaned forward for a better look as Scorpius withdrew from his pocket his long, coal-coloured wand. He proceeded to tap it against the parchment and muttered some sort of incomprehensible oath. Ink seemed to seep from within the pages, forming twisting lines dotted with little footprints, words rising up in the form of names and labels. {Rose/Scorpius}
Rose Weasley has kindly resolved to brighten the summer of Scorpius Malfoy. However, Rose's task grows more difficult as mysteries mount when one mysterious visitor after another graces the rustic elegance of the Malfoys' summer estate.
Scorpius Malfoy hadn't quite planned on spending his sixth year at the Durmstrang Institute in Merlin-knows-where, Eastern Europe, but he's determined to make the most of the uncommonly threatening ghosts, secretive Slavs, perilous coursework, and Albus S. Potter.
Theodore Nott finds himself confronted by Professor Trelawney, who wants to know why his dream journals are all made up... and why his readings of tea leaves are so consistently accurate. / Eventual TN/HG.
After receiving a Dreadful mark on his Muggle Studies project, Theodore Nott must work with muggleborn Gryffindor Hermione Granger to get his grade up. Does familiarity always breed contempt? / One-Shot; Fluffy, then a wee bit Angsty, then maybe Steamy.
"Hi," he said, kneeling down so that there was less of a height difference. "I'll be looking after you tonight. My name is Scorpius." / One-shot, SM/RW, utter fluff.
"Every year, coming home from summer holiday, I'd brag about the places I went. It was more that Father brought me along on business meetings..." The tired Draco-and-Hermione-become-summer-buddies plot, approached in a fresh but familiar way. Best efforts are made to tweak the surroundings, not the characters's personalities themselves, in order to bring them together. Fluffy fun
"All this? The beauty of nature? It would be nothing compared to a girl who wore blue lipstick. She'd be stunning, an enigma. It seems silly, but..." And it did seem silly. Scorpius lies about what he looks for in a girl and fluff ensues. Not terribly deep fluff, but attempts to be at least an interesting read. Short-ish one shot, T for mild language. Thanks C:
Albus is sitting alone 'til someone joins him, and that someone isn't sure what has him so upset. Slightly angsty, but overall probably pure fluff. Far grander than I'm making it out to be, I don't really have a way with summaries.
While the idea of Scorpius's first year is rather unoriginal, hopefully this will be new and fresh. I try to avoid some cliches it's easy to fall into, but this isn't a story that was written out of spite for the norm, or anything. Anyway, try it out :
