  • Little Gestures

Bard's daughters Sigrid and Tilda look on as Oin, Bofur and Fili try to care for a wounded Kili. Not knowing what else to do, little Tilda offers some comfort to Kili, and Fili and Sigrid share an 'older-siblings' moment. From the Desolation of Smaug, Hobbit Trilogy.

  • Dreams of Fire

What was Bilbo getting up to while wandering Thranduil's halls? You know what they say about cats and curiosity though... In this short story, our favorite Hobbit burglar follows the elf king into his private chambers, and finds himself in something of a pickle.

  • The Desired Gift - Interview With A Vampire Continued

Follows immediately after the final scene of Interview With A Vampire, where Lestat has kidnapped interviewer Daniel Molloy. Clearly, Daniel has something of a morbid fascination with vampires/death wish. Perhaps this makes him a more fitting recipient of the 'Dark Gift' than Louis was? Lestat certainly thinks so...

  • Of Tapestries and Trouble

During their overnight stay in Imladris, Fili and Kili go wandering away through the halls of Lord Elrond. While exploring they are discovered by Elrond's twin sons; Elladan and Elrohir. The elvish and dwarvish brothers hit it off on decidedly the wrong foot, insults are traded, and Gandalf has to break up what is shaping up to be a raucous fight! (Narrated by Lindir)

  • By Bilbo's Beard!

Bilbo has just left the Shire in the Company of Thorin Oakenshield. He's having a wee bit of trouble fitting in with this raucous group of dwarves though. Well, if there's one thing that dwarves like better than working with precious metals, its braiding beards and hair. So one night Fili and Kili decide to 'fix' Bilbo's sad lack of style on both his head and feet!

  • And the Raven Came

Fili and Kili's mother (Thorin's sister) Dís is awaiting the return of her family, but knows that the coming and going of Durin's Day with no word being sent is a bad omen. What has happened in Erebor, and when will Dís find out? As she waits, the dwarven lady remembers her sons' childhood, as well as the moment when she first realized she might have to let them go...

  • Pulling Strings

In the dungeons of Mirkwood, Fili and Kili have been placed in separate cells. The two brothers are missing one another terribly, so Kili decides to whip out his deadliest weapon to use on Tauriel; Puppy Eyes. Well, who could resist such a sweet dwarf? Apparently not Tauriel, much to the annoyance of Legolas.

  • Arise from the Ashes

Following The Battle of Five Armies, Bard thinks upon the reality of becoming King of Dale. The Desolation of Smaug and their family heritage is also affecting Bard's children Sigrid, Bain and Tilda, and they must each learn to cope in their own ways. (Slightly implied Sigrid/Fili) Spoilers if you haven't read the book...

  • Starting Anew

Post Battle of Five Armies, the story of Legolas's journey north to find the ranger known as 'Strider'. Essentially how Legolas met Aragorn. Featured characters include: Tauriel, Elladan, Elrohir, Bilbo, Balin, Dis, Dain, Thranduil and a host of OCs. Reviews are Precioussssssss... ;-)

  • Opening Day in Erebor

It's opening day for the restored Marketplace in Erebor! Thorin is now King Under the Mountain, and the city is being rebuilt and re-opened for the dwarves. An OC Book-binder named Fjallið is trying to open shop when Princes Fili and Kili decide to come inside and have a look about, bringing with them Bain, Sigrid and Tilda. Written as a contest prize, also featuring Gandalf.

  • A Leaf Among Iron

The War of the Ring is over, allowing Legolas and Gimli to fulfill their promises and travel with one another. There still remains the prickly business of introducing one another to their respective fathers... What will Gloin think when he gets a look at the elf whom his son has befriended? Will he remember Thranduil's son from 60 years ago?

  • Until We Meet Again

The time has come for the company of Thorin Oakenshield to gather at Bilbo's home. Fili, Kili and Ori are preparing to leave Ered Luin, much to the disappointment of young Gimli, whom Gloin has decided is too young to go on the quest. Before they depart, the young Durins stop by to try and cheer their friend up with promises of the future...

  • Mellon-nin

Aragorn has recently died, and Gimli is no longer a young dwarf. The time has finally come for Legolas to heed the call of the sea and sail for the Undying Lands. He will not leave without his dearest friend though, despite Gimli's misgivings. They say you cannot win an argument against a dwarf, but there is much to be said for the stubbornness of elves...

  • The Bluest of Blood, The Highest of Costs

We all know that Elrond was at the Battle of the Last Alliance, fighting under High King Gil-Galad. Thranduil's father King Oropher was there too, and so likely was Thranduil himself as a young prince. What happens when the infamous pride of the royal house of Mirkwood runs wild on the field of battle?

  • Ice and Blood

My 'guesstimation' of what the new Battle of Five Armies trailer means. Features Legolas, Tauriel, Bolg and Thranduil. If Legolas has half of his father's pride, he'll be spoiling for revenge after that brawl in Laketown. Azog's spawn won't go down easily though, and at what cost? And who will Thranduil blame...?
