  • A Month of Careese Sundays - 31 Drabbles of Our Favorite Couple

For 31 Sundays, I'll be posting a drabble here in this initial collection - some will be as is, while others have been revised, expanded and/or updated with notes regarding what inspired them, etc. To kick things off, here's a new drabble, inspired by an e-card.

  • Braids

"NO! I want John to do my hair!" - John Reese faces his toughest challenge yet: fixing a little girl's hair. Some fluff with our favorite couple in this one shot.

  • Back to School: Machine High II

In this final visit to Machine High (I swear!), romance and angst mix with humor as we tie up the threads of this tale. Ms. Carter discovers an evil within the school that threatens them all, new secrets are revealed, and new relationships begin, while old ones are rekindled.

  • The Escort

This fic was the result of a Secret Santa fic exchange organized by Carolinagirl919 and I was honored to draw her name. The prompt was: 'AU- John is an escort hired by lonely divorcée Joss Carter.' I'm posting the first chapter today and the next chapter will be posted tomorrow. Happy Holidays!

  • The Answer

This one shot originally started out as an AU drabble, in honor of #JossCarterIsEternal, but it wouldn't leave me alone, so I added two more sections. It takes place during S2, sometime after the events of Dead Reckoning.

  • Burn

"This is a bad idea," Shaw said, as the sweat dried on their naked bodies. "It's a little late for that," Peter Collier reached for the bottle of Diesel on the nightstand. "And besides, you contacted me."

  • Machine High

Carolinagirl919 has created another great challenge on the POI Discussion Forum: Now that John, Harold, Sam, and Root have to live under new identities in plain sight, what kind of jobs will they have? - Thinking about their new identities got me wondering how would our folks have met if they were in different jobs? This silliness is the result.

  • The Tin Man's Photograph

"What was her name?" Reese knew he should pretend he didn't hear her, should just walk out the door, but he stopped and looked at the cashier. - A year after the events of The Crossing, a chance encounter with a store clerk helps Reese begin to realize something precious about his relationship with Joss. Contains spoilers for the S3 episode Deus Ex Machina.

  • In Bed

Can two little words change everything? Always Careese.
