Predaking devoured Starscream, but now his vengeful voice fills Predaking's mind. Mad with hatred and hunger, Predaking eats other bots in secret until a strangely calm psychiatrist approaches him. Froid promises to cure him, but his methods are suspicious and he lets no one into his basement. A dark secret lives below, something that isn't Cybertronian... at least, not anymore.

The War is over. Predaking works at a spaceport welcoming refugees home, then joins Bumblebee's mission to bring 'Bots, 'Cons, and colonists back to Cybertron. In space, they meet the Decepticon general Overlord, a former gladiator who is calm, beautiful, and charming, yet the most dangerous Cybertronian alive. Overlord can't be harmed, so what chance do they have of defeating him?

Post Predacons rising. Starscream is murdered by the Predacons, but to his surprise he still lives on, so to say. In another realm he is overpowered by a lust for revenge, uncontrollable emotions and is hunted by dark creatures with deadly intent. As the living world continues on, he must learn about his past and better his future, or be wiped out of existence forever.
