Lula was a waitress placed so low on The Chain that no one could hear her screaming. Seeking help with her paranoia from Doctor Lamb, she was quickly incarcerated upon moving up in the ranks of the budding Family. She thought prison life wouldn't suit her, but she didn't have to be alone. Someone else shared her cell, someone marked for something much bigger than both of them.

"Lily's gaze lifted from the baby named Aurora in her arms to the man clad in black. "Forgive me, I assumed she was yours. You watch her with a father's eyes." The man seemed slightly confused, but hardly surprised. "And you would know what that looks like?" He asked, giving Lily pause. "No. I hardly knew my father.
