At sixteen, she could perfectly understand that boys and girls had the same rights to explore themselves as they please. At seventeen, she was ready to do it. He wasn't a bloody Gryffindor. He wasn't courageous, daring and brave. Nerve and chivalry weren't his most appreciated traits, either. He was a Slytherin, and as such, he valued his self-preservation. His survival. And in surviving he would think about. And if to get through it all he had to endure and act the way they wanted him to, he would certainly do it. No matter what.
