Post Doomsday for Doctor Who, post first Wizarding War for Harry Potter. Remus Lupin was in such a sorry state after losing all of his friends, he was thinking about drinking himself to death. But then a mysterious man called the Doctor shows up in his flat, and tells him just how much his life is worth living for.

A short little exploration of why the Doctor can't be a hero, especially not to those he travels with, but also why he must be.

Can Hermione save him, or is everything controlled by fate? Books and movie, AU for the fact that later on in the story, Hermione will be using the Time-Turner to go back in time, as well as some of this story takes place before and after HP series. Severus/Hermione, but I can't decide yet if it will be friendship or relationship yet. Give it a chance, and I think you'll like it c:
