A simple transfer from one agency to another, a brush pass. It happens every day and on this day it would go so wrong and a death would affect Annie to the core. Because of tragedy Eyal was there once again to help Annie cope but the aftermath also proved Eyal needed a little help too.
This story takes place several months after my story 'Magic of Mistletoe' and Annie finds herself in big trouble. Could this lead to something wonderful and is her Israeli friend nearby? It is my first multi-chapter story and hope you enjoy it.

I love the Annie Walker in the early seasons of Covert Affairs and her interaction with Danielle and family but alas things change. This little story came to me after reading about an ex-marine stepping in to take the daughter of a fallen comrade to a Father/Daughter Banquet and could picture Eyal doing the same. Setting is early spring in Georgetown we find Danielle in her kitchen
