Clark finds shelter not only from the men who are chasing him but from the kryptonite that will kill him if he stays in it any longer. Meanwhile, Oliver and Chloe delve deeper into Lois' memories when an un-expected visitor stops by.

Clark has escaped but has entered into an even greater hell than what he was in before. Suddenly, they find out that he escaped. The hunt is on but so is the will to survive.

Chloe and Oliver are getting nowhere with Lois. She doesn't remember anything and the need to find Clark has never been so dire. Especially after Lois suddenly, mysteriously remembers that it was Lex Luthor who took her. And it is him who has Clark as well.

Just as Chloe and Oliver get farther and farther away from being able to find Clark and ask Lois what happened, Clark finds a way to save himself. But is he really safe and free? Or is he just entering into another trap that Lex has set for him?

Chloe, Oliver and the rest of the Justice League are more than ready to find out where Lois and Clark are and to bring them home. But when Chloe and Oliver come across something unexpectedly, there search to find Clark becomes harder and more complicated than ever before.

Lois may be back home, but at what price? And what is going to happen to Clark as Lex keeps him prisoner and no one can find him.

Chloe traces Clark's phone to his last location, but they're too late. Meanwhile, Clark is trapped in a kryptonite laced room, fighting to stay alive to save Lois and himself.

Clark rushes to the bridge where it all happened. Where he and Lex first met. Where he saved Lex's life. And where now, he may be losing his own.

In his pursuit to find out what happened to her Father, Clark leaves Lois alone and vulnerable. And that action doesn't come without a consequence

This story comes after A Warring Heart that I wrote. It deals with the fact that to love is to be vulnerable. And a love as strong as Clark's and Lois's means they will always be vulnerable. Be vulnerable with them.
