Lena looked at him with a neutral expression, he assumed this was hard for others to red but not him he saw the fear in her eyes. A fear she was trying so hard to control. He knew even with his smile, that she could see his fear. He wasn't sure what scared him more, the vulnerability his future wife could see or the fact he was being forced to marry a girl he barely knew.

"I'm not scared of you." Remus looked down. "Everyone has scars, secrets and I'm too selfish to be scared of you." She kissed him. Remus looked at her, blue eyes met his and as much as he hated and loved to admit it...He saw truth and promise within her soulful iris.

"Just because they don't want you. Dose not mean they don't need you." Her raspy voice crooned to him. That was when he realized that while they grew without him and loved without him.
