This story was written in response to NorthAngel27’s challenge to come up with a work of FanFiction depicting how Severus Snape learned to fly without using a broom -- did Severus learn the skill from Voldemort, or did he first learn it from Lily Evans?

This was my response to a drabble challenge in the snape100 group on LiveJournal.

Most Tobias Snape/Eileen Prince stories have Toby a drunken brute, but canon doesn't really tell us that. Here's my alternative take on the Tobias/Eileen dynamic, showing how they met and ended up together.

One needs time to recover from major trauma, both physical and emotional.

This drabble hints at how much has changed from the days of Peace, Love and Happiness of 1969-70, to the growing darkness and nihilism of the late 1970s. Warning that rather clever and astute readers may discern "Disco Snape" plot spoilers.
