Quite a rewrite of Year 5 for Harry. After fourth year, Harry realized that he needed to harden himself if he is to survive this war, accept help from sources previously unknown, and open himself up to new powers and relationships.

Harry is yet again thrust into a situation well out of his control and it will take new friends, old enemies, loss and gain to push him over the edge where he needs to be to save Britain. Rating is M just to be safe because there might be some serious action going on in later chapters. Romance is yet undecided, I'm interested in what you want to be in it.

Harry Potter survived the war but fell into a depressive existence. His only real purpose is in a special squad he put together to stop crimes. Meanwhile something sinister is beginning in London which baffles Harry, Ron and his team. Something not of this world.
