Events happened years ago for Kari and some friends that no one besides her know about. Harboring memories of those events both helped and harmed Kari over the years. Suddenly though she's faced with those memories and people from her past - it was good either. Follow Kari as she has to take a step out of her comfort zone with old friends of hers to fight a war that isn't pleasant.

So my first attempt at a one shot so hopefully it's good. It's Matt x Kari. Before the story T.K. breaks up with Kari, they're in college by now also, because he got 'tired' of her. Her and Matt who had already some kind of connection ends up deciding to take small steps into a relationship together.
