An A/U take on the Chute episode, with Janeway and Chakotay imprisoned instead of Tom and Harry. Expect about a half dozen short chapters. Rated M out of an abundance of caution (it's a prison story, be warned), and apologies to anyone I've unintentionally ripped off. As they say, it's all been done before. J/C, what else? Workforce AU, changing one small detail by swapping Chakotay for Jaffen, as the original script is rumored to have had it. The last few scenes would be much the same – they didn't lobotomize her, after all – but far more difficult for both of them, which might change the outcome. I'm sure it's been done before, but hey, it's fanfic!
