Aether is away from Mondstadt for so long, resulting in Venti losing his inspiration and writing his problems on Cat's Tail Message Board. Now all of Mondstadt knows the Honorary Knight is dating Venti the bard. [The biggest problem is, my boyfriend—my muse, hasn't visited me in a while. If he does any more of those commissions and ignores me, I'll die of loneliness!]
From Aether's observation, although Venti is keeping a good gap between Venti the bard and Anemo Archon Barbatos personas separated in regular conversation.
