Natasha watches the events of Hawkeye from the afterlife.

What happens between the dropping the phone and calling the Doctor?
"Danny, if that is you, wherever you are, whatever it takes, I will be with you again. Nothing will stop me, nothing in the world, as soon as I know it's you." Clara now knows that it really was Danny at the other end of the phone call, and nothing will stop her from finding a path back to him.
