A late night visitor arrives at Doc's door.

Reward for Matt (S1 E16) gives us a look into Matt's mind and how he views his job. There's a scene where he goes to visit Doc to talk about his fears - but we never hear most of it. This fills in that MM.

This story is based on Stage Stop from season 12. A good episode but definitely in need of a little more background as well as an ending. I hope this story provides both.

A short story of prejudice and acceptance

A little drama and adventure but most of this is devoted to Doc Adams whose skills are constantly in demand because he is the only Doctor within a hundred miles of Dodge City The very nature of his profession sets him apart from even his closest friends and when he thinks his skills are not up to the task in hand, he has to handle his own emotions before he can help others.

Matt has to save an old friend and fellow lawman, from the gallows.

A stagecoach holdup, a murder and a ransom note are the background for this story
