A shocking conversation happens between Joan Watson and Kitty Winter. Kitty at first seems unreasonably angry with a person she's only recently met, but Joan learns that Kitty is aware of far more than she ever knew. Kitty's introduction to Sherlock goes back further than either Joan or Sherlock realizes and unbeknownst to him he created this new partner.

A young woman needs help getting rid of an ex and she turns to Sherlock Holmes for help because of John's blog. She's come to admire John through his writing, but she's not so sure how she feels about Sherlock. However, beggars can't be choosers. Sherlock finds himself wondering-what kind of man is John and what kind of man is he?
